NO ES FÁCIL SER VERDE - KERMIT THE FROG (JOE RAPOSO)
No es fácil ser verde:
tener que permancer todos los días con el color de las hojas
cuando creo que sería más bonito ser rojo,
o amarillo, o dorado,
o algo mucho más colorido que eso.
No es fácil ser verde:
parece que te confundes con tantas cosas ordinarias
y la gente tiende a ignorarte porque no destacas
como destellos brillantes en el agua
o estrellas en el cielo.
Pero el verde es el color de la primavera
y el verde puede ser cálido y afable.
Y el verde puede ser grande como una montaña,
o importante como un río,
o alto como un árbol.
Cuando verde es lo único que se puede ser
puede llevarte a que te preguntes por qué:
pero ¿por qué hacerse preguntas?
¿por qué hacerse preguntas?
Soy verde y está bien.
Es precioso
y creo que es lo que quiero ser.
